This policy covers the Velvet Rolls Lab Android app (package com.velvetrolls.app) and this official website, operated by CV CANTIK KERLIP BERCAHAYA (“we”, “us”). It describes the current release and the choices available to you.

1. Information used by the app

  • On your device: viewing history, episode and playback position, search history, saved and liked stories, language, onboarding choices, notification preferences and a guest profile/visitor identifier. These support browsing, continuing playback and your settings.
  • Content requests: the app sends the selected content language, search queries, requested drama/episode identifiers and save/like actions to the HuntShorts content service. Saved and liked records are synchronized with that service and cached on your device.
  • Connection and technical information: the content SDK and video/image delivery providers receive your IP address and information required to process requests and deliver media. They may process app/device or guest identifiers and technical error information to associate service activity and maintain the service.
  • Support: if you email us, we receive your email address, message, attachments and information you choose to provide. Do not send passwords, payment details or unrelated personal information.

2. Why information is used

We use information to deliver requested content, select the appropriate language, remember progress and preferences, synchronize engagement, troubleshoot faults, respond to support and privacy requests, and protect service integrity. Where a legal basis is required, processing is based on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in operating a secure service, consent for optional features where applicable, or legal obligations.

3. Permissions and your choices

Internet and network-state access support content loading. Notifications are optional; Android may ask for permission. You can disable them in the app or in Android system settings. The current release does not request camera, microphone, contacts or precise location access and does not require an account to browse. It does not collect payment-card information through this website.

4. Service providers and sharing

We use HuntShorts for the drama catalog, episode access and engagement synchronization, and related content delivery networks for images and video. These providers process information needed to fulfil those requests. Your email provider and ours process messages when you contact us. Website hosting is provided by GitHub Pages; see the GitHub Privacy Statement for its handling of visitor information. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or to protect rights and security. We do not sell your personal information.

5. Website storage

This website stores your English/Chinese language choice in your browser’s local storage. There are no advertising trackers, analytics scripts or advertising cookies added by this website. Opening the site or downloading the APK creates ordinary network requests to the hosting provider. External links are governed by their providers’ policies.

6. Retention, security and international processing

Local app information remains until it is removed through available app controls or Android’s clear-storage/uninstall function. Website language preferences remain until you clear site storage. Provider-side records and support correspondence are retained only as needed for service, security, support or legal purposes; the exact period depends on the record and applicable requirements. We use reasonable safeguards, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Hosting and content services may process information outside your country; applicable transfer safeguards and privacy requirements apply.

7. Access, correction and deletion

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority. To exercise these rights, email us. We may ask for proportionate information to identify the relevant record and verify your request. Clearing device storage does not by itself delete provider-side records. See our data deletion instructions.

8. Children and changes to this policy

The service is not directed to children below the applicable age of digital consent. Follow the age and content-rating requirements applicable to your location and obtain parental authorization where required. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information improperly. We may update this policy as the service changes, posting the revised date here and providing additional notice where required.
